Capital Campaign

It is almost 5 years we have formed our parish and by this time we have done a lot to bring our community together. We are in the process of forming a community of faith. We have the limitation of space, time and resources. At present we are allowed to use the facility of St. Thomas the Apostle Chapel only on Sundays for five hours on a rental basis. All other times we are granted to use it with special permission and we need to pay the rent for using it.

Due to the limitation of space and time we are not celebrating  regular weekday mass and other liturgical services according to the convenience of our members. But we pay maximum attention to take care of the spiritual needs of our people. We are trying very hard to raise funds for the church. We hope and pray that our dream will be fulfilled soon. It is not easy to find a facility that meets the immediate needs of our community and we are trying to get a facility in a convenient location which would be affordable and meet the requirements of all our people living in different counties.

To accommodate the needs of the parish it is necessary that St. Mary's have it s own church. The Capital Fund campaign has received 260 pledges (click to download a pledge form) with a total pledge of $1,796,000. Our goal is $4,000,000. With your support, we hope to raise the rest of the Fund. It is requested that you please try to contribute as much as you can now. In addition, if you are able to lend money to the church, it will be paid back with interest. The Parish council is organizing different fund raising programs. Your utmost co-operation and participation is needed for the success of all our endeavors.
